The National Review Columnist John Derbyshire states in his new book, We Are Doomed: Reclaiming Conservative Pessimism that women should not have the right to vote.

^That bastard right there.

So, why should we not be allowed to vote?

Because we “tend to vote to the left.” Meaning we shouldn’t vote because we are liberal. Let’s apply the same logic: No voting for African-Americans, since 95% of them voted for Obama in the last election. Ditto for any gay person. Oh and all of California, too.

That’s right! Democracy in action…as long as you are a white male who votes Republican.

Don’t believe me? There is actually a section in his book called: “The Case Against Female Suffrage.” And no, he’s not being ironic.

In case you don’t believe me, just take a look at this excerpt from his interview with Alan Colmes:

“COLMES: We’d be a better country if women didn’t vote?

DERBYSHIRE: Probably. Don’t you think so?

COLMES: No, I do not think so whatsoever.

DERBYSHIRE: Come on Alan. Come clean here [laughing].

COLMES: We would be a better country? John Derbyshire making the statement, we would be a better country if women did not vote.

DERBYSHIRE: Yeah, probably.”

Oh, one more thing. He thinks we “got on fine” in the 130 years before women could vote. And, while we’re at it, we should repeal the fucking Civil Rights Act of 1964 because we really “shouldn’t try to force people to be to good.”

Mr. Derbyshire, you are a fucking moron. I sincerely pity his wife and two kids.

But let’s not delude ourselves. There are also women who don’t think women should vote. Namely, this one:

Yeah, Ann Coulter doesn’t think women should be active politically.

From her interview with The New York Observer

If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat president. It’s kind of a pipe dream, it’s a personal fantasy of mine”

Gee. You know, that’s kind of ironic, since she’s a woman and stuff.
