#governmentshutdownpickuplines is happening on Twitter right now

The UK’s Prime Minister, David Cameron, is in the new One Direction music video

I personally think the Second Amendment is outdated and unnecessary, but I respect Constitutional authority etc., so I wouldn’t advocate for banning guns altogether. However, I think we can really reduce gun violence by taking certain steps:

  1. Banning assault rifles
  2. Reducing the direct influence of the NRA in government
  3. Increasing and enforcing gun bans around school zones etc.
  4. Cracking down on unlicensed gun behaviors (the Department of Tobacco, Alcohol and Firearms finds about 17,000 cases of unlicensed carrying of a weapon every year, which they then pass on to the Department of Justice. Last year, the Dep of Justice only prosecuted 3 of the 17,000 cases)
  5. Beefing up background checks and waiting periods for gun licenses
  6. Implementing gun safety requirements for gun owners (in terms of how the gun is carried/stored to prevent others from easily accessing it)
  7. Working with local law enforcement to penalize those who do not abide by gun regulations and to educate the gun-owning population on proper gun storage and safety
  8. Funding more gun buyback programs

I also think things like compiling a national licensing database could be helpful, but that’s a basic list of some things that I think would help.

This fucking butt baby pays to have a card made then goes out and buys himself dinner. He then eats his food (no doubt with a raging boner the entire time) knowing full well at the end he is going to leave this dick smell of a card for the person who served him instead of a tip. What a load of cock dust.

First of all, Prop 30 is a California state proposition to help fund schools. It has nothing to do with Obama. Regardless, it also only affects those who make $250k or more a year. Yet this walking talking flacid dick still leaves it.

I’ll tell you what, I don’t think I like this guy.

Socialism comes in many forms but in practice it usually all becomes some type of fascism.
Both Obama and Romney were just puppets of the fascist establishment that supports big government, war, and control over your lives. The real fight is the people against the state. Educate yourselves and join the real revolution.

Romney won among all voters making more than $100,000 a year by a margin of 54-44. Asian-Americans happen to be the highest-earning group in the U.S., out-earning whites, and they generally place enormous emphasis on family. A perfect fit for Republicans, no?

No. Asians voted for Obama by 73-26; they were more Democratic than Hispanics.

It’s also worth noting that only 41% of Asians identify as Democrats, and an election night poll found that 51% of Asians had not been approached to vote or register to vote by either party.

Some of this is taken from other posts. Ladies makin’ history collage.

Mary Gonzalez is the Representative-elect for Texas and will be the first openly pansexual official in the United States. She acknowledged the existence of non-binary identities when she came out.

Mazie Hirono is the Senator Elect from Hawaii and will be the first Asian-American woman in the Senate.

Tammy Duckworth is the Representative-elect for Illinois. She lost both her legs in the Iraq War and will be the first disabled female veteran elected to the House.

Tammy Baldwin is the Senator Elect from Winsconsin and the first openly gay person ever elected to the Senate.

(There was some misinformation over her stance on transgender issues (admittedly, the whole incident was a bit fuzzy at the end) but to clear things up, she has publically spoken out against transgender discrimination and advocated for their rights as recently as last year.)

So proud
